NILT metaEye™
Ultra-Compact camera
The NILT metaEye is smaller, simpler, and more robust than any other camera on the market.
Tiny size, big performance
NILT metaEye™ is the smallest and first realized camera using metalenses. Its unique architecture (a cube that is smaller than a grain of rice) that delivers a high-quality camera for near infrared (NIR) sensing, perfect for eye-tracking within augmented (AR) glasses, virtual reality (VR) headsets and other devices where precise eye and facial recognition is important.
Features
Ultra-compact module (lens, sensor, PCB, mounting):
Solid lens cube, without air gap
Measures only 1.64 x 1.64 x 2.17 mm
Outstanding MTF image quality across field
Tunable to meet customer requirements
Customizable focus range
Simple assembly process.
Applications
The metaEye™ has an optimized design for application in eye-tracking and iris recognition. Images and video captured with this metacube camera show high contrast and good resolution across the entire field of view when illuminated with an LED operating at 850 nm. The camera module operates over a large depth-of-field, making for good user experience.
